Error when changing a db login password in SQL Server Management Studio

    QUESTION:

    This error occurs when changing a db login password in the database:
    Going to Root SQL Server -> Security -> Logins, right click on one of the fp logins and select Properties. On General, enter a new password and Confirm Password, uncheck Enforce password policy then click OK
    This error may occur

    An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch.

    The CHECK_POLICY and CHECK_EXPIRATION options cannot be turned OFF when MUST_CHANGE is ON. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 15128)

    ALTER LOGIN [somelogin] WITH PASSWORD = ‘samepassword’

    ALTER LOGIN [somelogin] WITH 
          CHECK_POLICY = OFF,
