BMC Helix Remedyforce Service Desk
Logged in Staff User Should Not be Able to Change Their Email address, Administrator Can Only Change it
1. Log into BMC Helix Remedyforce as Admin
2. Select Setup
3. Select Customize | Users | Validation Rules
4. Click on "New" button | type a rule name
5. In Error Condition Formula add the below value:
ISCHANGED( Email ) && (NOT( ISBLANK(PRIORVALUE( Email)))) && ($Profile.Id = '03dxxxxxxxxxxxx')
Note: 03dxxxxxxxxxxxx is the profile id of the Staff, replace it with the corresponding one.
6. In error message add "Cannot change email address, please contact administrator"
8.Ask Staff to login and change the email address
