Remedy Asset Management Application & AR System
1. DROP/BUILD BUG OCCURS IN (IF PRE-RELEASE)
2. STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1> Login to Mid-Tier and go to Incident Management. Search for any existing incident or create a new incident..
2> Go to the Relationship tab, select Configuration Item in Search and hit the search icon.
3> In Advanced Search option, enter the search criteria ( e.g. CI Type) and hit Search button.
3. ACTUAL RESULTS:
The Search results take 6-8 seconds to display the data in the table.
4. EXPECTED RESULTS:
Search results should be displayed within seconds.

> This is happening when there are more CI's ( around 1 million ) in an environment.
> The same Search was working fine on 8.1 but in 9.1 it is showing performance degradation.
> We observed that in 9.1 the AST:BaseElement join qualification is ($ReconciliationIdentity$ = 'ReconciliationIdentity') OR ('ReconciliationIdentity' = $InstanceId$)
whereas in 8.x it was only ($ReconciliationIdentity$ = 'ReconciliationIdentity').
Note: Make sure to perform this steps to the related forms as required.
> If we enhance the qualification in 9.x and make it similar to 8.x it works fine and the performance is absolutely improved.
