    Synopsis of Knowledge Article

    This article describes a BDSSA 8.3.2 ETL error in SQL Server environments and also contains a hotfix.

     

    Problem/Symptom(s)

    A number of BDSSA 8.3.2 customers running on SQL Server have encountered this error in ETL:

     

    Failed step: BLUSER_PROPERTY > BLUSER_PROPERTY_INSTANCE > BLUSER_PROPERTY_INSTANCE insert flow into I$ table

    Error: Message: 4104 : S0001 : com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The multi-part identifier "V_BLUSER_PROP.data_type_id" could not be bound.com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The multi-part identifier "V_BLUSER_PROP.data_type_id" could not be bound.

     

     

    This is an issue which is fixed in BDSSA 8.3.3 but a hotfix also exists for BDSSA 8.3.2.

     

    Applicable to

    BDSSA 8.3.2 in SQL Server environments.
