AR System Java Driver 7.1 Source code & build instructions

AR System Java API Driver program (Version 7.1)

Although AR System 7.1 Server installation includes the Java Driver
program as source, unfortunately it does not include a couple of necessary files
in its distribution. Hence, users cannot build or run this program using the
provided source code. This download includes those missing files along with all
necessary Java Driver files, a simple ant build script as well as an eclipse
project.

INSTALLATION STEPS

  • Extract the javadriver-src-71.jar into your prefered file system directory.
For example, into your AR System Server installation directory as follows:
         <ARServerInstallDir>\ARServer\Api\JavaDriver71
Let us call this directory <JavaDriverHome>.
  • Copy all JAR files from <ARServerInstallDir>\ARServer\Api\Lib\*.jar to
<JavaDriverHome>. This will allow your eclipse project to pick up the
      arapi71.jar easily.
[http://Alternatively, you could simply extract javadriver-src-71.jar into your lib
directory itself. Or, define Eclipse classpath Variable pointing at your lib
dir, etc. Simply copying the AR API related JAR files into the Java Driver
folder is the easiest, albeit the disk space for duplicate files.|http://Alternatively, you could simply extract javadriver-src-71.jar into your lib
