The Eye of the Storm BMC® Remedy® AR System® Integration Module allows users to generate Action Requests (e.g., Help Desk Cases and Change Requests) from within EYE's management system.  After a fault or troublesome event has been identified by EYE, an AR can be automatically or manually generated for further assignment and action by the owner of the AR.  Or, an administrator can identify a network object (or set of objects) and generate an AR for specific action against those.  This allows IT staff to identify, coordinate, schedule, address, and track resources required to maintain the network, and feeds into to MTTR and MTBF analysis.

Action Requests generated from EYE are used in the AR System for normal action request processing and assignment.  To provide supporting information to an action request, the EYE management console can be directly invoked from within an AR, allowing network administrators to access all of the real-time and historical event information stored in EYE.
