    CRN has named Pam Fitzwater-Johansen, senior director of Sales Ecosystem, ISD, and Renewals at BMC, as one of the CRN Power 100: The Most Powerful Women in the Channel. Pam has earned this honor in 10 consecutive years. Only 100 executives of the more than 600 individuals on 2018 Women of the Channel list were named to the Power 100 sublist. Pam earned recognition by advancing BMC priorities to drive growth in focused product areas and increase partner readiness in sales and presales. Pam championed initiatives to train the BMC ecosystem like its field organization and to enable partner individuals to deliver high-quality services to customers.

    CRN has named BMC as a 5-Star Partner Program winner for the twelfth consecutive year. The annual directory ranks technology vendors that provide products or service solution providers through the IT channel, and the 5-Star rating recognizes an elite subset of companies that appear in the 2018 CRN Partner Program Guide. BMC earned the 2018 designation by ensuring that its partner program is profit enhancing. The new Value Based Selling Program trains partners to build compelling business cases through identifying pain points, quantifying value, and demonstrating ROI. It’s helped transform partner success rates, resulting in higher-than-average partner sales and accelerated pipeline growth.

    Sanjay Gupta, vice president of Worldwide Ecosystem Sales, has been recognized as a 2018 Channel Chief by CRN. It is the second consecutive year he has been named to the prestigious list. Under Sanjay's management, the BMC partner ecosystem has thrived, experiencing double-digit year-over-year revenue growth and leading the company in new logo customer acquisitions. The ecosystem has maintained a strong, deal-registered pipeline, realized growth in partner recruitment, and introduced several partner programs, including the Value Based Selling, Value Based Tiering, and Innovation Suite ISV programs.

    Pam Fitzwater-Johansen, senior director of Worldwide Channels, has been named as one of the Power 100 of the 545 women on CRN's Most Powerful Women of the Channel list. Pam has been on the CRN Power 100 list for nine consecutive years. For the past nineteen years, Pam has provided worldwide channel partner leadership, change management, and process improvement for BMC Software. Most recently, Pam championed deal registration and the design of the Partner Readiness and Education Program.

    Pam Fitzwater-Johansen, senior director of WW Channel Operations, has been honored by in the CRN Most Powerful Women of the Channel: Power 100 list for the seventh year. Working with BMC's new owners, Pam helped steer the development of a go-to-market strategy focusing on a specific customer tier for partners to sell, service, and support. Sales of specific products experienced 146 percent year-over-year growth.

Over 200 vendors submitted detailed applications outlining all aspects of their partner programs, and CRN bases the guide upon these details. The 2015 5-Star recipients include the elite providers who stand out from the crowd.

    For the second consecutive year, Brian Marvin, executive vice president of Worldwide Channels at the time of this award, was honored as a CRN Channel Chief. In 2014, Brian focused on recruiting key partner manager talent into the VAR organization, implemented deal registration focusing on net new opportunities to BMC, integrating rules of engagement with these transactions, and driving the training of over 918 partner employees via instructor-led and web-based trainings.
