BMC Helix Remedyforce : Unable to See the Attachments on Clicking “Show Details” under Remedyforce Self Service - Manage Approvals

    PROBLEM:

    Unable to See the Attachments on Clicking “Show Details” under Remedyforce Self Service - Manage Approvals.
    Steps to reproduce the issue:
    1. Go to Remedyforce Self Service
    2. Manage Approvals
    3. Click  “Show Details”

     Result: Not able to see the attachments 

     


    CAUSE:

    Configuration


    SOLUTION:

    To resolve the issue ,enable the below settings in Remedyforce.

    Steps to enable setting :
    1. Go to Remedyforce Administration
    2. Configure Self Service
    3. General Self Service Settings
    4. Enable record access from approval list.

    5. Verify the Attachments are visible in Manage Approval list.
    After enabling this setting, 'Show Detail' link will be available in manage approval section. To view record and it's attachments click on 'Show Detail' link.
    Also fields displayed in manage approval section are configurable through fieldset 'Mobile Approval Fields' of Incident object.

    Note: With the help of 'has attachments' field, it can be checked
    if the record has attachment or not.
