We are excited to announce the release of a new version of TrueSight Network Automation (TSNA). This release brings a lot of exciting and valuable new capabilities, including out-of-the-box support for SDWAN devices.
Let us look at some of the features:
CUSTOM Action Editor using GUI:
Now you can create new custom actions (examples: show up time, display MAC address, add new server to pool and so on) using TSNA user interface. You do not need to manually edit XMLs and import them to the server. You can also edit existing custom actions that have been created using XML previously. This will reduce the time needed to create custom actions to minutes. Bingo!!
Cisco Viptela SD-WAN device management:
Cisco Viptela is one of the leading SD-WAN device vendors in the market. Using TrueSight Network Automation, now you can snapshot the configuration, deploy changes, reboot, check compliance and remediate violations for Cisco Viptela devices. If you are using other SD-WAN vendors, the adapter can be replicated easily for those vendors too. If you manage SD WAN devices using TSNA, TSNA will become single source of truth for all network devices in your organization.
This was also one of the ideas on communities: Truesight Network Automation - support for Cisco Viptela devices. Thank you to the Community for your continued input and participation.
Multi-Server Administration - Support for pushing additional content types:
Multi-Server Administration is used for syncing content & device searches across multiple instances of TSNA such as QA and Production, using a single interface. You can now push the Dynamic fields, Rules and Rulesets from a single application server to multiple application servers. It is now simpler and faster to keep the data in sync across multiple sites.
TrueSight Network Automation is 100% REST API driven. This means you can execute all actions using APIs such as Execution of Reports, triggering jobs or running and remediating compliance checks. You can automate the execution of any operation using orchestration tools or scripts of your choice. This will take you one step closer to DevNetOps.
In addition to this, the most requested device support : Cisco ISE is available in this release along with support for additional device types..
And these are just the highlights! Check out the page below for the comprehensive list of what is in 20.02.01:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support and I look forward to hearing your feedback.
