how to check MainView product compatibility

    QUESTION:

    To check support levels and compatibility with various hardware and operating systems for your product set, please go to:

    support.bmc.com

    The second row of options, second option from left should be "Product Compatibility"

    Select that and on the resulting page:

    click on "BMC PRODUCT and VERSION"

    The product name is a dropdown box and you can select the product from that whilst also selecting the required "Product Version"

    Once those are populated, you can select "operating systems" about halfway down the page and the resultant display will include the versions upir chosen product is compatible with, which are zOS 2.1 and zOS 2.2, selecting zOS 2.2 observe the box on the right that says "operating system notes"

    That box will contain any required maintenance levels and exceptional PTF's.
