CHANGE MANAGER for DB2
EXECUTION FOR DB2
LOADPLUS for DB2
In an old and obsolete version of RECOVERY MANAGER for DB2 there was a requirement for a non-existent VALIDPROC named BMCBOGUS to be defined when creating the BMCUTIL.CMN_BMCLGRNX table. This was done during product installation. Its purpose was to ensure that BMCUTIL.CMN_BMCLGRNX remained empty. In all supported versions of the BMC utilities this VALIDPROC is no longer required.
Anything which attempts to update BMCUTIL.CMN_BMCLGRNX, including LOADPLUS for DB2 will fail should this VALIDPROC definition still exist.. This can also happen when running a CHANGE MANAGER for DB2 worklist which calls LOADPLUS for DB2, for example if you were attempting to migrate BMCUTIL.CMN_BMCLGRNX to another subsystem (which incidentally is not a recommended method of product installation).
To resolve the issue, ALTER TABLE BMCUTIL.CMN_BMCLGRNX VALIDPROC NULL to remove the reference to this obsolete VALIDPROC.
