    QUESTION:

How can I reduce the number of instances of a package to only the ones in the most current collection?
Trying to address use case where users have found some DB2 databases with instances of a package that are associated with a non-standard owner.

    ANSWER:

SCCBSQL is a Solution Common Code program and is bounded dynamically.

The Installation System generates an installation verification procedure (IVP) job.

    For dynamically bound packages:

    1. Find the packages in CATALOG MANAGER
    2. Free the packages
    3. Execute the $IVPssid jobs in the hlq.UBMCCNTL dataset. This job will dynamically bind packages that were freed
