    QUESTION:

How to share SQL statements amongst users in Catalog Manager

    ANSWER:

In CATALOG MANAGER an SQL statement can be saved into a Db2 table. By default it is saved under the current user id, and then retrieved by the same user. However the SQL can saved under a shared high level qualifier In the following example some SQL is saved under a shared qualifier DBAGRP

    User-added image

This can then be retrieved by any user  in CATALOG MANAGER using the line command SQL DBAGRP.*

    User-added image

This will display the SQL that was previously saved. Then the SQL can be executed, analysed, edited etc.
