    PRODUCT:

    Track-It!

    COMPONENT:

    Track-It! 2020 R1

    APPLIES TO:

    Track-It! 2020 R1

    PROBLEM:

All assets do not get synced into Track-It! inventory after running the Asset Synchronization. The BCM console shows more number of discovered devices than the Track-It! inventory console.

    CAUSE:

The Last updated date on the Devices in BCM is less than the Last Successful sync date in Track-It!

    SOLUTION:

    Solution:

If the last updated date on the device in BCM console is less that the Last Successful sync date in Track-It!, then the asset will not get synchronized in Track-It!. In order to change this behaviour we must follow the below steps.
Run the following query against the Track-It! DB

Example: If the Last Updated date on the unsynchronized devices is two days old the query will be as follows

    Update dbo.NAMSYSPROPERTIES set value='-2' where name='InventoryLastSyncFrom'

Restart the Track-It! Infrastructure service, IIS Admin and WWW Publishing

Perform a Manual Asset Sync from the Asset Synchronization configuration.

After all the devices have been synced into Track-It!, reset the above value to '0' by running the following query.

    Update dbo.NAMSYSPROPERTIES set value='0' where name='InventoryLastSyncFrom'

Restart the Track-It! Infrastructure service, IIS Admin and WWW Publishing.
