    QUESTION:

When does OS vendor support end for CentOS version 6 and RedHat version 6?

    ANSWER:

Support for CentOS version 6 and RedHat version 6 ends on November 30th, 2020.

    Please see:
    https://wiki.centos.org/About/Product
    https://access.redhat.com/support/policy/updates/errata

After this date, there will be no OS upgrades for these versions.

This affects Discovery versions 11.2 and earlier, and also 11.3 on CentOS6.

Customers should migrate to 11.3 (or later) on CentOS7 prior to this date.

Alternatively, RedHat 6 customers could migrate to the 11.3 on RedHat 7 version of Discovery, which has been available since November 2019. Note that there is an extra charge for this. Customers should contact their sales representative for details.
