How can I prevent a user to associate an incident to a Closed Broadcast?
Create a validation rule on the "Incident" Object:
1. Go to Setup > Objects
2. Select Incident and Click Validation Rules
3. Click New
4. Enter on the Error condition formula the following formula:
BMCServiceDesk__FKBroadcast__r.BMCServiceDesk__FKStatus__r.Name = 'CLOSED'
5. Check Syntax
5. Make sure your rule is active and click save
