BMC Performance Manager Portal 2.9.10 , where port monitoring is set
The following error can be seen in the portal GUI when attempting to perform port monitoring
"I/O problem while getting data from host XXXXX: (Port monitor 'portmon' Pramalet)"
Follow the steps below :
1: Change the Timeout for Connect to 5000 millisecond which is 5 seconds be default. The property can be found in the rsm.properties file on the RSM
Save the file
2: Restart the RSM service and check if port monitoring is working
