    PROBLEM:

    Customer reports his Pointer Checker Plus job is failing with IKJ56220I MAXIMUM NUMBER OF DATA SET ALLOCATIONS ALLOWED


    CAUSE:

    Problem occurs, because the data class being used has a large number of candidate volumes which is causing the TIOT to fill up.


    SOLUTION:

      Customer can override the data class and point to one with fewer candidate volumes using the //BMCSETUP DD using the following control statements:
     

    SMS(Y)                

      

    STRGCLAS(   )

      

    MGMTCLAS(   )     

      

    DATACLAS(   )
