    Error when opening Service Analytics
    Service Analytics internal error ocurred.
    Check our Web site for more suggestions.
    Error information is copied to the Clipboard if browser settings allow it.
    Send the error information to BMC support via email.

    After checking the C:\Program Files\BMC Software\FootPrints\web\rdDownload log , getting below error.
    Inner error:
    The connection to the host XXXXX, named instance MSSQLNEW failed. Error: " Receive timed out". Verify the server and instance names and check that no firewall is blocking UDP traffic to port 1434. For SQL Server 2005 or later, verify that the SQL Server Browser Service is running on the host.

    When we are using SQL named instance, we need to start  SQL Server Browser Service. It uses port UDP1434

    • Login into Footprints application server
    • Open services.msc from start menu or Run
    • Find SQL Server browser > Start it
