    PRODUCT:

BladeLogic Decision Support for Server Automation (5 Report Viewers, 1 Query Studio)

    APPLIES TO:

    BDSSA 8.9

    PROBLEM:

TSSR-SA has been installed on a different host than BDSSA but pointed to the same Data Warehouse.

Attempting to then run ETL from the BDSSA server returns:

“Run ETL/Stop ETL/Set CutOff ETL is not allowed from BladeLogic Decision Support For Server Automation(BDSSA). Please execute ETL/Stop ETL/Set CutOff ETL from TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse(TSSADW).”"

Note added in EOL communities post https://communities.bmc.com/docs/DOC-108796

    CAUSE:

    By design

    SOLUTION:

This behavior is by design. Once TSSR-SA has been installed, ETL must only be run from the TSSR-SA server and not from the BDSSA Server.
