BMC Portal 2.11 Log file monitor failing to execute script

    PROBLEM:

     

    BMC Portal 2.11 Log file monitor failing to execute script

    When Attempting to use the log file monitor to execute a .sh script. we get the error "file does not exist"

    user which we used for the configuring the logs monitoring  can login to the Linux server and execute the script

    Par file being used: BMC-PM-Express-for-Servers-Log-Mgmt-2.7.71.par

     

     


    CAUSE:

    File/folder permissions need to be checked.


    SOLUTION:

     

    Providing the read permissions to directory and script will help resolve the problem.
