    QUESTION:

What is the process to enable BYAPP_CPU_UTIL metric import by the Gateway Server ETL to make the System Explorer Command tab data available?

    ANSWER:

The BYAPP_CPU_UTIL metric is imported by the TSCO Gateway Server ETL when the Command Statistics Data type is selected in the ETL Run Configuration.

Note that, by default, the BYAPP metrics are defined as Metric Level 4 (Extended) so it is necessary to configure the ETL to import metrics down to that level (via the ETL Run Configuration) or modify the metric level of the BYAPP_* metrics in the Metric Profile.

The collection of the BYAPP_* metrics makes data available in the Commands tab of the Data Explorer Capacity View.
If one is looking to see data in the Process Profile tab that data comes from a different data source (being read from the UDR data on the TSCO Gateway Server).
