    QUESTION:

How do I restart an Informatica Workflow from the failed Task using Control-M for Informatica?
I only see the option to force a restart from a specific task I have to specify in advance.

    ANSWER:

The Suspended workflow parameter in the Control-M for Informatica job definition has three options:

    Recover :
Restarts suspended workflow from point of failure

    Force Restart:
Restarts suspended workflow from the beginning.

Force Restart from a specific task:
Restarts the suspended workflow from a specific task that you define

So in this case, the Recover option is the one you should use. Note that "Recover Suspended workflow" means that will restart the workflow in recovery mode only if the current status of the workflow is "Suspended" so make sure about it.
