Track-It! Unable to open attachments within any tickets

    PROBLEM:

    When we try to open any attachments from within the tickets in Track-It! 2019 we receive the below error:

    Access denied to C:\Program Files (x86)\BMC\Track-It!\Application Server\Aspx\Attachments

    NOTE: You will only see the above error when you try to open the attachments while you are logged in to the Track-It! Server and not the local machine.


    CAUSE:

    This is due to permissions not given to everyone on the specified path


    SOLUTION:

    To resolve this error go to C:\Program Files (x86)\BMC\Track-It!, right click on Track-It! folder and go to properties.
    Go to security tab, click edit and give full control to everyone.
