    PRODUCT:

    BMC Atrium Core - CMDB

    COMPONENT:

    BMC Atrium Core

    PROBLEM:

Getting this error when processing a transformation job in Spoon:

      Unexpected error closing query: org.pentaho.di.core.exception.KettleDatabaseException
Transformation detected one or more steps with errors.

This error it is claiming is not being able to write in an specific    AIcache path.

    CAUSE:

This error is caused because the job is trying to write in an specific path that has no accessto it. Path should be something like: C:\Program Files\BMC Software\AtriumIntegratorClient\AIcache\...

    SOLUTION:

The reason this happens when Jobs like "CMDBLookUp" or "CMDBOutput" has enabled the cache flag. Then job tries to write cache logs in specific path.

Provide write permission to the directory or you can edit the job and un-check the box named as: Enable cache?

    Screenshot as an example:

This will skip the step to write into the AIcache folder and will let the job runs.
