    CAUSE:

    Connectivity issue

    SOLUTION:

When SSO is receiving “Receive timed out” for particular domain then there is a possibility that the network traffic is restricted between the ASSO server and Domain Controller.

Run ping command to the host to check if it is able to contact the host.

      At command prompt type:

    Ping hostname

          Or

Ping IP address of the host

In case the ping command is disabled for the server, run the tracert command. Tracert command helps to trace the number of hops required to reach the host.

    At command prompt type:

    Tracert hostname

           Or

Tracert IP Addres of the host

If the tracert command gives request time out for all the possible number of hops then the traffic is restricted and the network administrator should allow the traffic.

If the tracert command replies back with the time required to reach the host then the issue need to be investigated further.
