Release 7.8 of MainView SRM StopX37/II

    PROBLEM:

MainView SRM StopX37/II Release 7.8 Erroneously Generates Message SVM4922S EXTENT WILL EXCEED THE 4GB LIMIT

The following series of messages is seen in the job log of a batch job or started task. The dataset name in the IBM IEC070I message depends on the site dataset naming conventions. This is simply an example:

    SVM4161I - PRS41412 USING 64-BIT EDB
    SVM4161E - PRS41412 64-BIT EDB ID ERROR
    SVM4161I - PRS41412 USING 64-BIT EDB
    SVM4161E - PRS41412 64-BIT EDB ID ERROR
    SVM4161I - PRS41412 USING 64-BIT EDB
    SVM4161E - PRS41412 64-BIT EDB ID ERROR
    SVM4161I
    - PRS43411 USING 64-BIT EDB
    SVM4161E - PRS43411 64-BIT EDB ID ERROR
SVM4922S EXTENT WILL EXCEED THE 4GB LIMIT
    IEC070I 034(004)-220,DSNDBM1,DSNDBM1,A00002BA,5A13,RDDGLA, 6
    IEC070I DADTVD00.DSNDBC.DA00001D.DA0002TS.J0001.A001,
    IEC070I DADTVD00.DSNDBD.DA00001D.DA0002TS.J0001.A001,JCP4.UCA

    SOLUTION:

Apply ptf BPG7315. The ptf will correct the series of SVM4161I/E messages and will correct the erroneous generation of the SVM4922S EXTENT WILL EXCEED THE 4GB LIMIT  message.
