TrueSight Synthetic - "WebFormGet(WinSock: 11001 - Host not found" error continues to occur with TEA Agent even after host not found issue is resolved

    PROBLEM:

    The following error is reported in the TrueSight Presentation Server Console (TSPS) from a Synthetic application:

    "WebFormGet(WinSock: 11001 - Host not found"

    This error is reported repeatedly until either the Synthetic Execution Plan is restarted or the Synthetic TEA Agent is restarted


    CAUSE:

    If a hostname cannot be found in the hostname cache during replay, it has to be resolved (again)


    SOLUTION:

    Add this call to the end of the Synthetic script  in Borland Silk Performer to clear the DNS cache:
    WebRemoveFromHNC("Your site name"); 

    This function is used to remove an already resolved host from the hostname cache of a user. If a hostname cannot be found in the hostname cache during replay, it has to be resolved (again).
