How do I activate/use Control-M JCL Verify function as it is greyed out on the Control-M/Enterprise Manager GUI Client?

    Control-M JCL Verify 9.0.18 and higher. Control-M/Enterprise Manager 9.0.18 and higher



    PROBLEM:

    - Unable to activate/use Control-M JCL Verify function as it is greyed out on the Control-M/Enterprise Manager GUI Client.
    - This is the screen shot of the "Verify JCL" function being not available:

    CAUSE:

    Control-M for z/OS job and folder is checked out in a Workspace or Control-M JCL Verify is not installed or active on Control-M for z/OS


    SOLUTION:

     

    Do verify the below:
    - Control-M JCL Verify is installed on Control-M for z/OS
    - Control-M JCL Verify Local Monitor is active

    In order for the "Verify JCL" option to be available on Planning Domain on Control-M/Enterprise Manager GUI, the Control-M Folder and Job that need to be "JCL Verify" must be "Checked In".
    If the Control-M Folder and Job is "Checked Out" in any workspace, the "Verify JCL" icon will be grayed out (Not available).
