    QUESTION:

    If an App Visibility Agent for .NET is installed on a Windows operating system, and the Windows operating system needs to be rebooted then what needs to be done to ensure the App Visibility Agent for .NET is working properly?


    ANSWER:

    Solution:
    Ensure the App Visibility Agent for .NET service is started before IIS or the application pool is started.  If IIS or application pool is started before the App Visibility Agent for .NET service, then perform the following steps:

    Step 1) Stop the App Visibility Agent for .NET service
    Step 2) Stop IIS or application pool
    Step 3) Start the App Visibility Agent for .NET service
    Step 4) Start IIS or application pool
