Upgrade rollback from Control-M/Enterprise Manager 9.0.18 to Control-M/Enterprise Manager 9.0.00 on AIX , received "***ERROR discovered in program em gtw by down_open_rel()*** corefile is written to path/ctm/ctmem/ctm_em/core

    PROBLEM:

    User install and the uninstall Control-M/Enterprise Manager 9.0.18 on Control-M/Enterprise Manager 9.0.00 instance running in AIX server. After restarted  Control-M/Enterprise Manager components following errors appear in console Windows: 

    *** ERROR discovered in program em gtw by down_open_rel() 
    *** corefile is written to /app/ctctlm01/ctm/ctmem/ctm_em/core 
    *** Wrong number of fields in table A180501001_AJOB 
    *** errno: 2, No such file or directory 


    CAUSE:

    CAR00181390 uninstall of version 9.0.18 back to 9.0.00.500 cause errors in GTW because of wrong number of fields in active nets tables


    SOLUTION:

    Option 1: Reinstall  9.0.18 on top of 9.0.00.000
    Option 2: Drop the active net in question using SQL DROP table command again Control-M/Enterprise Manager database.
    Option 3: CAR CAR00181390 is created to fix this in future release
