When upgrading from Control-M/Enterprise Manager 9.0.18 to 9.0.18 fix pack 1 or 2, the Timezone.dat file is replaced

    PROBLEM:

    When upgrading from Control-M/Enterprise Manager 9.0.18 to 9.0.18 fix pack 1 or 2, the Timezone.dat file is replaced

    This causes any user modifications to the timezone.dat file to be regressed.


    CAUSE:

    CAR00188160 - TimeZone.Dat file replaced by upgrade from 9.0.18 to 9.0.18.100 procedure - previous manual changes overridden


    SOLUTION:

    CAR00188160 with the following description has been opened for the problem:

    CAR00188160  - TimeZone.Dat file replaced by upgrade from 9.0.18 to 9.0.18.100 procedure - previous manual changes overridden

    This CAR has been released on version 9.0.19. If you are upgrading to 9.0.18.100 or 9.0.18.200, please perform the following:

    1.  Take a backup of the current timezone.dat file
    2.  Perform the upgrade to 9.0.18.100 or 9.0.18.200
    3.  Replace the timezone.dat file with the backup taken in step 1.
