    QUESTION:

Following an upgrade using the silent install method, the Dynservices seem to be running when I do a cpit status.
However, in TSCO Console, the status of the service is in ERROR

    ANSWER:

When trying to silent install the CO, the proper options may not have been selected.

If on the dynservices/log/ dynservices-optimizer-zookeeper.log there is this error, this is the issue
01-05-2019 05:33:26.314 [main-SendThread(MyServer:8999)] INFO  org.apache.zookeeper.ClientCnxn.logStartConnect - Opening socket connection to server MyServer/127.0.1.1:8999. Will not attempt to authenticate using SASL (unknown error)

In order to solve the issue, a run of installer in reconfigure mode is required and so modify the silent install file and comment out all the lines except for the following and set it to true as shown

      -J IS_RECONFIGURATION_FLOW=true

Ensure that this file is under the 11.5 install folder under the silentInstallTemplates folder and re-run the silent upgrade using this FILE.
    The steps would be

    1. copy file as mentioned above
    2.
    3. stop services
    4.
    5. rename the [BCO_Install]/secure/service folder
    6.
    7. launch the setup with the silent option pointing to this new reinstall file.
    8.
    9. change the secure folder files ownership to cpit:cpit user/group
    10.
    11. start all the services.

Log into the  Console and verify the status of the Dynservice.  They should be green.
