    PRODUCT:

TrueSight Synthetic Transaction Monitor with Micro Focus Silk Performer

    COMPONENT:

    BMC Synthetic Transaction Execution Adapter

    APPLIES TO:

BMC Synthetic Transaction Execution Adapter (TEA) Agent (all versions)

    PROBLEM:

The following error message will appear in the TrueSight Presentation Server (TSPS) console and TrueLog while executing a BDM script on the Synthetic TEA Agent:

    BrowserNavigate(BrowserEngine: 32 - Internet Explorer request failed. INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND (0x800c0005))

    SOLUTION:

Below are possible root causes for this issue:

    1) For example, receiving false alerts is due to the Internet connectivity is not stable on the server where the Synthetic TEA agent is installed

    2) Refer to the following MicroFocus link:

    https://community.microfocus.com/t5/Silk-Performer-User-Discussions/How-to-over-come-this-error-INET-E-RESOURCE-NOT-FOUND-0x800c0005/m-p/1719426

    3) According to Microsoft, the error code 0x80070005 is also known as ACCESS DENIED.  It usually occurs when you lack file or registry permissions that are required to perform the executed action.  Another reason is that the server or proxy was not found.  See the following links for more information about the error code:
