    BMC Helix Remedyforce How to Disable Two Factor Authentication for Salesforce 


    ANSWER:

     

    Enabling Disabling Two-Factor Authentication for Salesforce / BMC Helix Remedyforce is a multi-step process:

    Disable the Session Settings:
    1. Click Setup | In the Quick find type: Session
    2. Click Session Settings | Scroll down to Session Security Levels
    3. Remove: Two Factor Authentication to High Assurance | Click Save

    Disable the Two-Factor Authentication for Profiles:
    1. Click Setup | In the Quick find type: Profiles
    2. Click Profiles | Click Edit beside the desired profile | Scroll down to General User Permissions
    3. UnCheck Two-Factor Authentication for User Interface Logins | Click Save

    Disable the Two-Factor Authentication for Permission Sets:
    1. Click Setup | In the Quick find type: Permission
    2. Click Permission Sets | Click the desired Permission Set | Click System Permission | Click Edit
    3. Scroll down to and Uncheck Two-Factor Authentication for User Interface Logins | Click Save

    Verify users can log in without two-factor authentication.
