    QUESTION:

    How to assign user permission to access reports in Smart reporting.


    ANSWER:

    1. User Access to Private reports:
    a) Check the “Private” option and click on ADD ACCESS to add the user to whom the access is to be given for this report.

    b). Select user name from the drop down list to whom the permission is to be given.

    c) Only selected users can access the private reports. 

    2. User Access to Dashboard:
    a) Once the reports are added to dashboard, at the time of saving the dashboard check the private option (so that only specified user can access dashboard).


    b). By clicking on Dashboard Security tab, add the subscriber to whom this is accessible.

    c). After making these changes and adding user, click on activate button.
