How to restrict user access to a specific Watchpoint data in the Real User Analyzer?
The entitlement groups feature allows the restriction of access to Watchpoint data for a specific user or group of users. Perform these steps to configure the restriction.
Log in to the Real User Analyzer with a security officer account.
Navigate to the Administration > General settings > Accounts & LDAP management page.
Create a user account for the user for which the access to Watchpoint data is restricted. The user role must be Observer. See the following documentation page for more information on user account roles.
Navigate to the Administration > Security settings > Account policies page.
Enable the Entitlement groups function.
Navigate to the Administration > General settings > Entitlement groups page.
Add an entitlement group with the following parameters
Name = a short name to describe the entitlement group
Description = an optional long description of the entitlement group
Select one or more Watchpoints for which the user will have access to.
Select one or more Observer user account to the entitlement group
Turn on the entitlement group.
When the Observer user account logs in the Real User Analyzer, they will only see the configured Watchpoints in the Watchpoint summary page and in Watchpoint selection settings for Dashboards, Session Browser query and Reports.
NOTE: This does not prevent a user from launching a Session Browser query for "all Watchpoints".
