    PROBLEM:

    Missing impersonation authentication adapter under AR connection settings.


    CAUSE:

    Missing impersonation adapter


    SOLUTION:

    1.- Make a backup of the "web.xml" file.

      Example path: C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem\SmartReporting\appserver\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\web.xml
        
    2.- Add following lines almost at the end of the "web.xml" file.
      
       <servlet>
          <servlet-name>AtriumPassThroughRegistrationServlet</servlet-name>
          <servlet-class>com.hof.pool.auth.adapters.thirdparty.AtriumPassThroughRegistrationServlet</servlet-class>
          <load-on-startup>14</load-on-startup>
       </servlet>
      
       
      
      Note: the code needs to be placed before the last </web-app> tag.
      
        
      
    3.- Restart Tomcat.

    4.- Update the authentication adapter to "Impersonation" in data source connection information from administration on the UI.
