Not able to deploy the ARS patch to all servers in a server group

    Remedy AR System Server


    APPLIES TO:

    AR System Server version 9.1.04 and higher



    PROBLEM:

    Used AR System Deployment Management Console to install an AR System patch.  After uploading the patch .zip file and deploying the patch, the Host Status of the Deployment Payload on several servers in the server group was "Monitor Unreachable"


    CAUSE:

    Port 7319 was blocked between the servers in the server group.


    SOLUTION:

     Port 7319 is used by the AR System Monitor service to communicate between the servers. And port 7320 is used by the Mid-Tier Monitor service.  Both of these ports need to be allowed in the firewall rules.
