Error: This User, as the Default Lead Creator, Must Have the Modify All Data and Send Email Permissions in BMC Helix Remedyforce

    PROBLEM:

    When attempting to change the profile for a user  you may receive an error message stating: This user, as the Default Lead Creator, must have the Modify All Data and Send Email permissions

     


    CAUSE:

    Default Lead creator cannot be removed with Modify All Data and Send Email permissions


    SOLUTION:

       
    To change the Default Lead Creator please follow these steps.

       
    1. Go to Setup.
    2.  
    3. On the Quick Find box, enter Web then click Web-to-Lead.
    4.  
    5. Click "Edit"
    6.  
    7. On "Default Lead Creator", click the magnifying icon then search for the new default lead creator. The new Lead creator must have the "Modify All Data" and "Send Email" permissions enabled.
    8.  
    9. Click Save.
    10.  
    11. Verifies you can now change the profile of the user.
