    PRODUCT:

    TrueSight Capacity Optimization

    COMPONENT:

    Capacity Optimization

    APPLIES TO:

    TrueSight Capacity Optimization 11.5, 11.3.01

    PROBLEM:

When logging into TrueSight Capacity Optimization (TSCO) the following error is being reported:

Forbidden request! Goto url should be aligned with a RSSO cookie domain.

    SOLUTION:

The "Forbidden request! Goto url should be aligned with a RSSO cookie domain." generally means that either:

      (a) You haven't used the fully qualified hostname in the URL to connect to TSCO or TSPS, or
    (b) The Cookie Domain defined in RSSO isn't the same as the network domain for the TSCO or TSPS servers.

Note that the 'Cookie Domain' defined in RSSO could be a more general version of the TSCO/TSPS domain.  So, an RSSO Cookie Domain of 'bmc.com' would support TSCO/TSPS servers in the 'adprod.bmc.com' or 'labs.bmc.com' domains.

    Additional Debugging

    Questions:
        * What is the URL being entering to access the TSCO console (https://server.domain.com:8443/console or something else)?  Note that it is necessary to specify the fully qualified hostname when connecting to TSCO (the non-qualified http://server:8443/console hostname URL can't be used)
      * In Remedy Single Sign On (RSSO) what is the value for the "Cookie Domain" under General -> Server Configuration?  That needs to match the domain name for both the TSCO and TSPS servers.
