    QUESTION:

    Does Atrium Core 9.1.x version need to be directly upgraded to 1902 without having to upgrade to 1802?  Does the upgrade support Zero Down Time and Roll back feature?

    ANSWER:

    As per the following documentation link, following should be the upgrade path followed from 9.1.x to 1902

    https://docs.bmc.com/docs/brid1902/planning-an-upgrade-837865874.html

    Direct Upgrade from 9.1.x to 1902 for the following components

    ---> BMC Remedy AR server
    ---> BMC Remedy Midtier
    ---> BMC Atrium Core
    ---> BMC Atrium Core Webservices
    ---> BMC Atrium Integrator

    Zero Downtime upgrade is possible only in case AR server has been installed in a Server Group environment.

    Roll back feature available in Atrium Core upgrade whether or not Zero Down time upgrade is supported.  But the roll back will roll only the application files and not the database.  A backup of the database prior to running the upgrade must be taken.
