Smart recorder searches issue with firstname%lastname when allowPersonSearchByNameOnly is set to true in CCS

    PROBLEM:

     

    Problem Statement : Smart recorder searches issue with firstname%lastname when allowPersonSearchByNameOnly is set to true in CCS

    Steps to reproduce:
    a. Set allowPersonSearchByNameOnly -> true in CCS
    b. Go to Smart Recorder.
    c. Type @FirstName%LastName(for ex Allen%Allbrook) in smart recorder

      


    ACTUAL RESULTS:
    Its not returning the result for people record if firstname%lastname is entered in one go.

      


     EXPECTED RESULTS:
    It should always return result, if people profile exist.

     

      

     

      

     

     


    CAUSE:

    Defect SW00558425


    SOLUTION:

    Confirmed defect SW00558425  has been raised on the issue which is tentatively targeted for Smart IT 19.08 release.

    Workaround:

      a. Login to mid tier.
    b. Go to Form "SMT:Administration: Application Data Source Queries".
    c. Search with Query Name = "MYITSM_LIST_PERSON_BY_NAME".
    d. Update Query Value from
      
      ('1000000017' LIKE \":firstNameSearchString:%\" AND '1000000018' LIKE \":lastNameSearchString:%\") AND :companyName:  AND ('7'=1 OR '7'=0 OR '7'=2)
      
      to
      
      ('1000000017' LIKE \":firstNameSearchString:%\" AND '1000000018' LIKE \":lastNameSearchString:%\") AND ('7'=1 OR '7'=0 OR '7'=2) :companyName:
      
      e. Restart the Smart IT server.
    f. Check the use case using Smart Recorder.
