Failure while upgrading integration service

    PROBLEM:

    Upgrade of integration service is failing with below error in installation log:
    -----------------------------

    INFO,com.bmc.install.product.bppm.agent.validation.BPPMAgentPreInstallValidationTask, LOG EVENT {Description=[Validation error],Detail=[IS is installed but entries in /etc/rc.d are missing. Refer BMC documentation for more details INVALID_UPGRADE_VERSION]} (Apr 25 2018 01:13:37.341 PM +0800),SEVERE,com.bmc.install.product.bppm.agent.validation.BPPMAgentPreInstallValidationTask, LOG EVENT {Description=[IS is installed but entries in /etc/rc.d are missing. Refer BMC documentation for more details;INVALID_UPGRADE_VERSION[String:0.0]],Detail=[IS is installed but entries in /etc/rc.d are missing. Refer BMC documentation for more details The 0.0 version is not supported for upgrade]}

     


    CAUSE:

    Not enough permission for file S81pronto.xxx.1


    SOLUTION:

    Please do the following:

    1. Copy S81pronto.XXX.1 from <ISN_Install_directory>/pw/pronto/bin to /etc/rc*.d directory
    2. Provide 755 permission for S81pronto.xxx.1 under /etc/rc*.d.
    3. Run the installation again
