    QUESTION:

    BMC Helix Remedyforce How can a Service Request be identified on a Workflow,Process Builder or Validation Rule?


    ANSWER:

    There are two fields that can help you difference a Service Request from an Incident see below fields:

    1-  Is Service Request Field
        Label:  Is Service Request
        API Name:
    BMCServiceDesk__isServiceRequest__c
        Type: Boolean
        Example:  If BMCServiceDesk__isServiceRequest__c = True  //This means the incident record is a Service Request


    2- Request Definition Field
        Label: Request Definition
        API Name:
    BMCServiceDesk__FKRequestDefinition__c
        Type: Lookup
        Example:  if BMCServiceDesk__FKRequestDefinition__c  is blank   //This means the incident record is NOT a Service Request
