    APPLIES TO:

    CMF MONITOR

    QUESTION:

    What is the syntax of the BBATSP00 product enable / disable statements?

    ANSWER:

      The BBATSP00 member (found in BBPARM) controls product initialization within the z/OS PAS.

    z/OS PAS products:-

      CMF       CMF MONITOR
    MV390    MainView for z/OS
    MVUSS   MainView for UNIX System Services (USS)
    MVSPS   MainView SYSPROG Services
    MVVP     MainView VistaPoint

      Syntax:-

      <product>
      <name>   ppppp    </name>
      <server> ssssssss </server>
      <target> tttttttt </target>
      <enable/> or <disable/>
    </product>

    'ppppp'      is a registered product (listed above)

    'ssssssss' is the jobname of the server, i.e., the PAS address space name.

    'tttttttt'        is the SSID parameter specification followed by the SMF System
                     ID, e.g., SSID=BBCS on a system with SMF SID(MVSA) results
                     in a target of "BBCSMVSA".

      In the following example, products MV390 and CMF will initialise on all systems.
    MVUSS will initialise on all systems except SYSB that has a CAS Subsystem ID of BBCS:
    <product>                                                            <name>   MV390    </name>                                          <enable/>                                                        </product>                                                         <product>                                                            <name>   CMF      </name>                                          <enable/>                                                        </product>                                                         <product>                                                            <name>   MVUSS    </name>                                          <target> BBCSSYSB </target>                                        <disable/>                                                       </product>
