    PRODUCT:

    MyIT Digital Workplace

    COMPONENT:

    MyIT Service Broker

    APPLIES TO:

    DWP C/ SBE 18.00, 19.00, 3.5, Oracle 19C

    PROBLEM:

We are not able to create the tenant when running the scripts from below documentation

    https://docs.bmc.com/docs/digitalworkplaceadvanced/1811/loading-the-bmc-digital-workplace-catalog-tenant-setup-data-856632401.html

    CAUSE:

DRMY1-17132 - DWP C is not compatible with Oracle 19C until 19.11 and beyond.

    SOLUTION:

    1.  Delete the tenant as follows:

          /opt/bmc/digitalworkplace/sb/rxscripts

        Then run the below commands

    •      source ./bin/setenv.sh
    •
    •      source ./bin/login.sh dwpadmin Passw0rd!
    •
    •      source ./bin/tenant/find.sh
    •
    •      source ./bin/tenant/delete.sh <tenantname>  //bmc for example.
    •
    •      ./dwpcontroller stop
    •
    •      ./dwpcontroller start

        b) Drop the tenant database and recreate it

    ORACLE:
    DROP TABLESPACE dwp_db_tenant INCLUDING CONTENTS AND DATAFILES; commit;

    How to recreate the databases/tablespaces:

             https://docs.bmc.com/docs/display/dwpadv1811/Creating+Oracle+tablespaces
             https://docs.bmc.com/docs/display/dwpadv1811/Creating+Microsoft+SQL+Server+databases

        c) Log onto the DWP - C Server Ar Server, via Midtier or User tool, as   dwpadmin

        d) Delete the tenant record in the AR System Tenant form, for this you only have to a do search on any field, and delete the result.

        e)  Restart the DWP C via ./dwpcontroller stop and ./dwpcontroller start script in the terminal.

        f)  Run ./post_install create_tenant

    g) Log onto DWP Catalog

    NOTE -- ORACLE DB only

If step f) fails and you get

    • a 404 error
    •
    • 'Tenant data population in progress:  "activationStatus":"Failed"' error,
    •
    • And if you also see these errors on armonitor.log
