DWP CATALOG - Reinstall |Getting ERROR (623): Authentication failed; Action Request Installer Account/ when Installing Digital Workplace Catalog

    PROBLEM:

    We tried reinstalling DWP Catalog after several failed attempts. We were getting the below error on the ar_system_install.log


    Getting ERROR (623): Authentication failed; Action Request Installer Account


    Which was caused by the below error.

    PROGRESS EVENT {Description=[arserver.ruleengineexecutor.installer.description],Progress=[100],Detail=[Deleting Install account...]}
    SEVERE,com.bmc.install.product.arsuitekit.platforms.arsystemservers.arserver.ARServerCreateAdminUser,
      THROWABLE EVENT {Description=[Failed to delete Install user]},


    We found out that on the same ar_system_install.log


    CAUSE:

    The first installed failed. As per PE, it is better to drop the dwp_db_app db and start over, to ensure that the dwp_db_app is good to use.


    SOLUTION:

    1.- Drop the dwp_db_tenant database/tablespace

    2.-Recreate it by following the below steps-

    3.- Run the below script in the DWP Catalog System.
    ./remove-digitalworkplace.sh

    4.- Re run the installation script

    5.- The install should start and finish with no issues.
