    QUESTION:

Summary: On Screen On Page Load business rule to display message causes some fields on the form to be unresponsive
Configured 'Service Request' item, having an 'On Screen' On Page Load business rule to display a message causes several fields on the form to be unresponsive and we are unable to type into them. Disabling the rule allows the form and fields to behave correctly.

We investigated and confirmed that this is a defect. The issue is that when we get that popup message on the screen using that business rule triggered with service catalog. Even though the message goes away the area it occupies remain there only which is causing the fields behind it to be inaccessible (see screenshot). When we screen little up or down the message area also adjusted and then we are able to click on some field. I am able to reproduce this on my environment as well.

    Steps to Reproduce:

    • Create a Service Catalog
    • Configure few services>It should configured in such a way that should create service request using templates

    • Create Business rule as follows

    • Now Request for any service. It will show the popup then fields will be unresponsive

Actual Results: Some fields become unresponsive, unable to click/enter data into the field

Expected Results: All fields should be responsive so that customer can fill data into it

Use Case(s): Service Catalog/Business Rule( Show message on screen)

    Who is affected: All users

    Workaround: NA

    ANSWER:

This issue has been marked as Fixed in the 20.19.03 release
