    How can I replace the certificate used by Control-M Managed File Transfer Enterprise for its external-facing File Exchange portal and/or FTPS server?


    ANSWER:

    The following video demonstrates how to replace the certificate used by Control-M Managed File Transfer Enterprise (MFT B2B) for its external-facing File Exchange portal and/or FTPS server:

    Follow these steps:

    1. Create/obtain a PKCS12 keystore (*.pfx) containing the private key and corresponding signed certificate you want to use
    2. Place the *.pfx file on the MFT B2B Gateway machine in the data directory
    3. In the Control-M Configuration Manager (CCM), go to Manage > MFT B2B
    4. Select the Gateway tab
    5. Under the https and/or ftps sections, enter the new full path to the keystore, and the corresponding password
    6. Save the changed and restart the MFT hub backend process (shut-b2b, start-b2b)
